Rainbows Program

MISSION:
To provide curricula and training for establishing peer support groups for children, adolescents and adults who are grieving due to death, divorce or painful transition in their family. Please check back for more information on our program during the school year. For more general information about the Rainbows Program, please click on the link below:

Small Group Counseling Program

Small groups are limited in size, in order for each student to have more individualized attention in the group. The classroom teachers generally make referrals, but parents and students may also request for a child to participate. Parent permission is required for any child to be a part of a small group. If your child has been referred,  you will receive a letter and a permission form in the next few days. If you would like more information about these groups, please call or stop by my office.

Parent Resource Center

We have established a Parent Resource Center at Cleveland. It is housed in our Media Center and contains a variety of books, and videos on topics of interest to parents. All of these materials are available for check out via the Media Center. We hope you find  these resources helpful, and do appreciate any feedback you have regarding them. We will continue to try and expand this as a service to our parents. Please let us know if you have specific needs that you want us to include.

Parent Success.com - Parenting Tips & Strategies

From the "About Us" page:

Our goal is to help parents, children, and families through our tips, columns, resources, and books. Dr. Roger W. McIntire, our company president, believes that the best prospect for a child's happiness is a parent content and confident with the parenting job. The guidelines he suggests are proven effective and help parents develop the self-confidence to say, "I handle most situations with my child in a good way, a thoughtful way, and I am in control of my reactions."
