When will I get my cards?
You will receive your cards NO LATER THAN 3-4 days after the orders are due. With recent changes we have made to the way we process orders we feel confident we can easily send your order home with your child 3-4 days after the order are due.
When will my payment be processed?
All checks will be deposited into the PTO bank account no later than 3 working days after orders are due. This should work out to you receiving your cards the same day your payment clears your bank account.
How is the money spent?
The profit earned is put into a General Fund. Which means it can be available for any need our children or teachers have, once the PTO Board has approved the expense.
How do I use the cards?
It’s EASY!!! At a gas station or grocery store or department store you simply swipe your card just as you would a debit or credit card and the dollar amount on your card is applied to your bill and your receipt will show any balance available on your card. At a restaurant you would also use it just as you would a debit or credit card you can even apply part of it to the tip.
Can I use a credit card?
Not at this time. However, IF there were enough parents who would USE the SCRIP program IF you could use your credit card it might be profitable for the PTO to pursue. Unfortunately we took a poll during the 2006/07 school year and we did not get enough interested families to make it profitable. We will take a poll again during the 2007/08 school year.
